The name Martin Randal was derived from the middle names of its founding partners Eric Randal Rotramel and Jack Martin Crumbley.

Modest, humble, funny as hell, a wealth of knowledge and obscure bizarre facts, and an unbelievable knack for sprouting great ideas at the drop of a hat — Jack inspired everyone around him. "My goal has always been to make what I do for clients worth more to them than the money they
pay me. And along the way, to be kind to the people I encounter, whether they are employees, clients, or bicycle messengers." A great philosophy to live by.

Hello, I’m Eric, the core of Martin Randal. I’ve been helping clients with creative solutions for the last 19 years and counting. Before launching Martin Randal in 1999, I spent over 10 years as a designer and art director for both small and large design and advertising agencies. Global clients that I’ve had the pleasure to work with include New Balance, Mastercard, Liberty Mutual, Diner’s Club, Polaroid, Scientific Atlanta, and the Discovery Channel.
I can be found at the center of all projects — knee-deep in creative strategy, design, and front-end development.
Awards collected along the way include Creativity, The Best of American Corporate Identity, Graphic Design USA and other internationally distributed design publications.
